THE IMPORTANCE OF ISLAMIC EDUCATIONIslam has always placed a high value on education, as education became an important channel through which to create a universal and cohesive social order amongst diverse cultures. The heritage of Islamic knowledge, first and foremost is through its primary sources, the Qur'an, the Sunnah, and the Hadith. Islam is a way of life and for Muslims to practice living the Islamic way it is important to understand the basic principles of Islam from a young age. Formal Islamic education is beneficial in that children and adults learn from trained teachers and reliable resources.
We offer a variety of courses through various institutions operating at Masjid ul Farooq. The Islamic syllabus consists of subjects such as Arabic Language, Qur’an reading, Qur’an understanding, Qur’an memorisation, History of Islam, History of our Prophet (S.A.W), Fiqh, Hadith and Tawheed. Our courses are tailored for Muslims of all ages, from 6 years to adults. Our Masjid is home to a vibrant multicultural Australian community. We have over 40 nationalities as part of our congregation and offer a large number of activities on top of daily prayers for males and females.
