Please note that there will NOT be a 2:00pm session from this week onwards
Kuraby Masjid will be having  2 jamaat’s for Jummah in line with the Industry Covid Safe Plan for a place of worship as follows:
Khutbah Start Time
 
12:15 pm 
1:15 pm


  • Please arrive before the allocated khutbah time
  • Please leave the premises once salaah has been completed to accommodate for the next congregation.
  • Do not bring children under the age of 12.
 
BEFORE Coming to the Masjid
  • Register on Eventbrite for your preferred Jummah session
  • Walk/Cycle to the Masjid if possible (to reduce congestion between sessions).
  • Make Wudu at home.
  • Bring your own Prayer Mat.
  • Please have the Eventbrite confirmation email ready for scanning upon entry
  • If you are considered ‘High Risk’, we ask that you stay at home.

IMPORTANT Masjid Announcement

Masjid Re-Opening

Assalamualaikum

We pray this message finds everyone in good health and strong Imaan.

As you may be aware, the current lockdown will cease tonight at 6pm. As a result, the Masjid will reopen from Maghrib salaah today, 11 Jan 2021.

Please take note of the following important points, in line with the current QLD Government requirements:

Before Coming to The Masjid
 - If you are unwell, PLEASE stay at home.
 - Make wudhu at home (if possible).
 - If you are considered high risk, we ask that you stay at home.
 - Bring a prayer mat with you.
 - You MUST wear a mask when you are at the Masjid.

Once You Are at The Masjid
 - Ensure you sign in with the ipads provided at the entrance or on the SinePro app.
 - At all times, please comply with the requests of the volunteers who are assisting the Masjid as Covid Safety Wardens (in compliance with the Covid Safety Plan).
 - Ensure social distancing is maintained at all times.
 - Leave the Masjid once you have completed your salaah. We request that musalees do not mingle on the balcony, in the corridors or outside the Masjid unless required to do so.

IMPORTANT MASJID ANOUNCEMENT 
 
In light of the QLD government announcement today, please take note of the following very
IMPORTANT points for jummah salaah today and general salaahs over the next 3 days.
 
Jummah Salaah 
 
Before Coming to The Masjid
 We strongly encourage anyone who is able to pray their jummah in a smaller congregation
at home or elsewhere to please do so. 
 If you are unwell, PLEASE stay at home.
 Make wudhu at home.
 If you are considered high risk, we ask that you stay at home. 
 Do not bring children under the age of 12.
 If possible, please wear a mask when you are at the Masjid. 
Once You Are at The Masjid
 At all times, please comply with the requests of the volunteers who are assisting the Masjid
as Covid Safety Wardens (in compliance with the Plan). 
 Ensure social distancing is maintained at all times. 
 Leave the Masjid once you have completed your faradh salaah. Do not mingle on the
balcony, in the corridors or outside the Masjid.
 If you are purchasing food, please do so in an orderly manner with adequate social
distancing. Once you have purchased your food, please leave the Masjid. 
Daily Salaahs 
 The Masjid will be closed after Asr salaah today, 8 January 2021. The Masjid will re‐open
for Magrhib salaah on Monday 11 January 2021.
 For those attending Asr salaah today, please wear a mask where possible and leave the
Masjid once you have completed your salaah. 
We are all aware that the circumstances we find ourselves in our testing. We appeal to the Kuraby
Masjid community to please have patience and work with us during this time.
