KURABY MOSQUE OPEN DAY 2021 - EVERYONE IS INVITED

7/10/2021

When: 30th October 2021
Start time: 11am

The purpose behind the open day is to give you the opportunity to visit a mosque, learn about Islam and meet some Muslims. More importantly, the key objective behind the open day is to get Muslims and non-Muslims engaging in conversation, be it about religion or anything else under the sun, so that we can overcome the 'fear of the other' and misconceptions about Islam, as we aim to build mutual respect and understanding. The program for the day has been outlined below:

We are committed to supporting reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australian people. In keeping with the spirit of reconciliation, we acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land upon which we stand. We wish to pay respect to the Elders – past, present and emerging – and acknowledge the important role the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people continue to play within our community.
